Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5437, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1927 and retired in January of 1950 after 23 years of faithful service. Description:  Portraits 5. Here is a steam locomotive portrait of (R to L) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6848 and #5437. Engine #6848 is an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in September of 1926 and retired in May of 1956. Engine #5437 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by Baldwin in March of 1927 and retired in January of 1950. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#37 of 40)
